Pineda
Director
The Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety (Division) thanks you for your timely correspondence of
01 June 2010, submitted in response to the problems and corrective actions described in the inspection
report of 24 February 2010. ,!--'
After reviewing the information you provided, primarily clarifications of the Mining Plan and the post
mining land use, the Division has determined that revisions to the Mining Plan and the Reclamation Plan
currently on file are not needed at this time.
However, based on observations made during the February inspection it appears that the Financial
Warranty amount of $50,000 currently held by the Division is due for review. This was not done in
detail during the February inspection due to snow cover. Therefore, I will be in contact to schedule a
follow up inspection for that purpose sometime in the near future.
Feel free to call me at 303-866-3567 x8108 with questions.
Sincerely,
CW111-/ 1
/David Bird
Reclamation Specialist
cc: I/Tony Waldron - DRMS
Office of Office of
Mined Land Reclamation Denver • Grand Junction • Durango Active and Inactive Mines
