P
(Page 2)
MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: P-2008-018
INSPECTION DATE: 6-15-10
INSPECTOR'S INITIALS GRM
The Notice was approved after May 2008 and is considered non-confidential per SB-228.
OBSERVATIONS
This inspection was conducted as part of the normal monitoring program established by the Colorado Division of
Reclamation, Mining, and Safety for a Notice of Intent. Energy Fuels representative Jess Fulbright and BLM
representative Barney Buria accompanied the inspector on site.
Per the Annual Report 12 holes were drilled. All holes backfilled with cuttings, and concrete plugged. Two holes
required cat work to establish pads and some minor repairs to existing roads was done in one place.
Pads that were established had slash materials, boulders and other debris pulled back across the disturbed sections.
Revegetation in these areas notes Indian rice grass, snake weed, wheat grass and some rabbit brush along with other
native volunteers. All other holes were on existing historical drill roads or pads. Vegetation of these areas is similar
in diversity. The density of the vegetation in most areas is thin as this is only the start of the second growing season.
Given the current moisture patterns the vegetation density could improve to the point of being releasable by next
spring. Secondary seeding of thin areas this fall is recommended.
The sites are stable. No erosion or sedimentation issues were observed. All holes were plugged and no subsidence
was noted. Several holes were very difficult to find do to the reclamation.
DRMS is satisfied with the earth work reclamation at the Farmer Girl 2. More time is needed for vegetation to meet
reclamation standards currently. Please note that DRMS does not have final drill hole abandonment report s for the
12 holes. The lack of the reports is noted as an issue of concern and not considered a problem at this time.
However, no future release request will be considered unless the reports are on file.
Responses to this inspection report should be directed to Russ Means at the Division of Reclamation, Mining, and
Safety, Grand Junction Field Office, 101 South 3rd Street, Room 301, Grand Junction, Colorado 81501, phone no.
970-241-1117.
I & E Contact Address
NAME: Jess Fulbright
OPERATOR: Energy Fuels
STREET: PO Box 888
CITY/STATE/ZIP: Nucla, CO 81242
cc:
?
