ame <br />Earth & Environmental <br />VLF EARTHWORKS FIELD MONITORING SUMMARY (WEEKLY REPORT) <br />Project Title: CC&V/ Phase 5 <br />Owner: Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mining Co. <br />Location: Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mine <br />Work Element: Phase 5 CQA/ VLF <br />Date: May 22, 2010 <br />Project No.: 84201125EO <br />Contractor: Ames Construction Co., Inc. <br />Shift: Day/Night <br />Reporting Period: 5/16/10 through 5/22/10 <br />Days S M T W T F S <br />Work Shifts - D D D D D D <br /> - N N N N N - <br />D = Day Shift N = Night Shift <br />Ambient Temperature Range (F): Low: 35°F to 41°F (+/-) High: 52°F to 68°F (+/-) <br />AMEC CQA: Personnel On-site through the Reporting Period (See Attachment A). <br />AMES: No issues <br />CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES and PROGRESS: <br />II) EARTHWORKS <br />A) Stripping <br />1) VLF <br />No work performed during the week. <br />B) Subgrade Preparation <br />1) VLF <br />Fine grading, moisture conditioning, and compaction of subgrade was performed between <br />stations 132+00 (+/-) and B 14+00 (+/-), approximately 200 to 600 feet right of centerline. <br />Subgrade in this area was inspected and approved by AMEC and Ames representatives (see <br />Figure 2). <br />C) Slope Contouring <br />1) VLF <br />Slope contouring was performed between stations C0+00 (+/-) and C7+00 (+/-), approximately <br />60 feet left of centerline to 60 feet right of centerline and between stations E4+00 (+/-) and <br />E12+00 (+/-), approximately 50 to 300 feet right of centerline. Slope contouring was <br />performed using various CAT dozers and various CAT excavators. The material generated as <br />the cut progressed was pushed down the slope. <br />VLF Weekly Report WE 05.22.10.D
