MANAGEMENT
RECEIVED
JUN 212010
?. ;t ian ,i9on,
?X,ning and S Y
On behalf of McClane Canyon Mining LLC, enclosed is an application for a minor
revision to allow the Operator to installed telephone pole supports for a fiber optic cable
that extends from the mine office to the office trailer located on the mine bench. The
support poles will be used telephone poles approximately 15-foot tall. The reason for
the request is that the fiber optic cable is currently installed on the ground and is
occasionally damaged by wildlife. The used support poles will be obtained from the
Munger Canyon Mine.
The fiber optic line is approximately 2,370 feet long and it will require 12 support poles.
DRMS power line demolition estimates are about $5.60 per foot. I suggest this line
should be bonded for about twenty five percent (25%) of the power line cost or $1.40
per foot. Thus the increase in reclamation estimate is $3,318 direct cost and about
$4,000 with burden added.
Amended page 2-28and Figure 2.2.2 are enclosed. Please call with any questions.
Sincerely,
E. Stover, P.E.
Consulting Engineer
cc: One Copy Denver Office
