office that numerous past revisions' clearances do in fact cover the areas of the
proposed re-disturbance and new road construction areas. These clearance surveys are
typically done in a block or landscape zone fashion rather than specific corridors or pad
locations to ensure more complete and efficient surveys. MCC also completed and
provided a new fish and wildlife studies summary (by Monarch and Associates) that
should be helpful to the OSM and USFWS for this review and clearance. Also refer to
the May 12th memo from Daniel Gray of the GMUG National Forest submitted with
MCC's incompleteness responses dated May 13tH
3) DRMS is waiting for verification from the U.S. Forest Service of surface right-of-entry
pursuant to their letter of May 24, 2010.
MCC awaits the FS right-of-entry verification as well.
4) DRMS is preparing a reclamation cost estimate for TR-121 in which it will be necessary to
determine the incremental bond amounts for recently drilled MDWs and apply those
amounts to the current reclamation liability. Please submit a revised copy of the map titled
"E Seam MDW Drilling Plan" that shows current MDW information. The copy of this map
in the TR-121 submittal does not show all of the MDWs in panels E-1 and E-2. The
previously approved copies of this map in the permit application (in Exhibit 80, Tabs TR-
111 and PRA 4) do not show current locations and well numbers for all of the E-Seam
MDWs that have been drilled.
As the map submitted with this TR application is an updated E-seam MDW drilling plan,
MCC did not include MD Ws already drilled, as they are "actual" not `planned" MD Ws.
Below is a copy of tables that were sent by e-mail to you on January 26th detailing the
MDWs drilled to date on panels E1 and E2 and including pad sizes and new road
construction lengths that can be used for the reclamation cost estimate. In addition, MCC
provided a projection of the MDWs and the associated pads and roads that were planned
for 2010 at the time. You might note that the former MR 364 "megapad" proposal (and the
projected plan for additional E3 MDWs) was included in that information as well.
2008 MDW Drilling - Total Disturbed Acreages
Location Road ft Road Acreage Pad (S q.
