The area outside of the creek banks (on the north side of the creek) will be back sloped
from the bottom of the pit area to the original ground elevation at a slope no steeper than
3:1. Those areas will have topsoil replaced, then be seeded according to
recommendations received from the Haxtun Natural Resource Conservation Service.
a) The creek bed currently has gravel at the surface. There is no topsoil in the
creek bed itself. Areas lying outside the creek bed have topsoil ranging from
0-5" in depth. That topsoil will be stockpiled and returned during the
reclamation process.
b) Slopes no greater than 3:1 will be left in areas outside the creek.
c) Sloping will occur as material is mined.
d) The access trail will be left in tact once the mining is complete.
e) There are no other reclamation treatments to note for this site.
A cost estimate for final reclamation has been prepared and is attached.
EXHIBIT E - Maps
Location Map
USGS Quad Map
Aerial Photo
Site Map
Mining Plan Map
Reclamation Plan Map
Final Contour Plan
EXHIBIT F - List of Other Permits and licenses required
Roger Falk and Ritchey's Redi Mix & Precast Inc. are applying for a zoning permit in
Phillips County.
