Mr. Cunningham:
On behalf of North Weld Gravel, RLLP, owners and operators of North Weld Gravel in Weld County
Colorado, please find the following information request in direct application to permit number
X1-1976-018.
North Weld Gravel, RLLP has proposed an increase to their previously reported sand and gravel
production rate. Current permit documents identify a maximum production rate of 70,000 tons of
aggregate per year. The proposed increase will raise the maximum production rate at this facility to
350,000 tons per year with all other existing aspects of the current permit remaining unchanged. To
date, it is North Weld Gravel's understanding that no further action is required at this time to satisfy
existing permitting requirements with the Colorado Division of Mining, Reclamation, and Safety. At
your earliest convenience, please confirm the assertion that no additional information is required at
this time, otherwise please notify North Weld Gravel of any additional documentation required.
