<br />Minrec, Inc., 2024 E 3/4 Road, rand Junction, CO
<br />81503 has submitted a compleGte application for a
<br />technical revision to the Division of Reclamation,
<br />Mining and Safety for its North Thompson Creek
<br />Mines, mining permit no. C-1981-025. On January
<br />25, 2010 the Division of Reclamation, Mining and
<br />Safety's decision on Minrec's bond release appli-
<br />cation number 6 became final. The bond release
<br />held Minrec responsible for the developed water
<br />resources area and the underground mine work-
<br />ings. Minrec was granted release from all of the
<br />other areas associated with the North Thompson
<br />Creek Mines including the reclaimed loadout area.
<br />This technical revision application will amendedthe
<br />permit boundary to incorporate the changes Ind
<br />deletions approved by bond release application
<br />number 6.
<br />The amended permit area consists of the lands lo-
<br />cated in Sections 27, 28, and 35, T. 8 S., R. 89 W.,
<br />16th P.M. and Sections 2 and 3 T. 9 S., R. 89 W.,
<br />6th P.M. more fully described below. The surface of
<br />the mine permit area is owned by the North
<br />Thompson-Four Mile Mineral and Land Corpora-
<br />tion (portions of sections 27, 34 and 35 T8S), the
<br />Crystal River Ranch Company (portions sections 2'
<br />and 3 T9S, and sections 34 and 35 TBS, and the U.
<br />S. Forest Service (portion of section 27 T8S). The
<br />mine permit area is located approximately 9.5 miles
<br />from the bridge across the Crystal River up County
<br />Road 108, (North Thompson Creek Road). The
<br />permit area can be located on the U.S.G.S. 7.5
<br />minute Stony Ridge, CO quadrangle map. The to-
<br />tal permit area encompasses 1086 acres of which
<br />20 acres are on federal land. -

<br />fices of the Division of Reclamation, Mining and
<br />Safety, 1313 Sherman St., Room 215, Denver, CO,
<br />80203, (303) 866.3567. Written comments regard-
<br />ing this application may be submitted to and addi-
<br />tional information may be obtained from the Divi-
<br />sion of Reclamation, Mining and Safety at the
<br />above address. Written comments must be re-
<br />ceived by the Division of Reclamation, Mining and
<br />Safety within 10 days after the date of this publica-
<br />tion in order to be considered.
