Martin <br />Executive Director <br />Loretta E. Pineda <br />Director <br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety has received a revision for the Bowie No. 1 Mine. The <br />revision was called complete on June 16, 2010. The decision due date is June 26, 2010. <br />In Minor Revision No. 124, Bowie Resources is proposing to drill one exploration hole in order to further <br />define the remaining coal reserves within the Bowie No. 1 Mine permit area. There will be 0.5 acres of <br />surface disturbance for the drill pad, which will be reclaimed after use. An existing light use road will be <br />used to access the site. The surface disturbance will be on private land with right of entry through a <br />surface use and access agreement.
