Dear Ms. Gonzales:
The above-mentioned site has had one or more problems noted that, according to Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (Division)
records have not yet been resolved. According to our records, the following problem(s) was (were) to be resolved on or before May
27th, 2010 as listed on the February 17a', 2010 inspection report sent to your office. Listed below are descriptions and corrective
actions for the problem(s). Please resolve the corrective actions and provide evidence of such resolution on or before August 161h,
2010.
Please note that if the corrective action(s) are not properly addressed, and evidence provided to the Division by the date provided above,
the listed problems could be escalated to the level of possible violations and would then be referred to the Mined Land Reclamation
Board for further action.
PROBLEMS CITED:
1.) Tamarisk Trees have volunteered into the site and are becoming established. This is a problem at this time for failure to
employ weed control for weed species that threaten the development of the desired vegetation pursuant to Rule 3.1.10 (6).
a. Corrective action: Please submit a weed control plan in the form of a Technical Revision as outlined in the body of
the report. The fee for a Technical Revision is $216.00. (The February 17`h, 2010 Inspection Report is enclosed with
this letter)
