MANAGEMENT <br />On behalf of Bowie Resources LLC (BRL), enclosed is an application for a minor <br />revision to provide for the drilling of one exploration hole. The exploration hole will <br />further define the remaining coal reserves within the Bowie No. 1 Mine permit area. The <br />project involves utilizing approximately 1.2 miles of and existing light use road and the <br />construction of one drill pad. Reclamation will consist of restoring the drill pad to <br />approximate original contour and seeding. The existing light use road does not need to <br />be upgraded. <br />Right of Entry <br />The exploration hole and light use road are located on surface owned by Turkey Track <br />Ranch. A Surface Use and Access Agreement between Turkey Track Ranch and BRL <br />is enclosed. The coal is subject to Federal Coal Lease C-37210. <br />Affected and Disturbed Area <br />The drill pad will disturb approximately 0.5 acres. <br />Cultural Resources <br />A Cultural Resource Inventory Report is enclosed. <br />Access <br />All access to the drill site will be from Stephens Gulch road. <br />Light Use Roads <br />The alignment of the existing light use road is presented on Map 4-1 Hydrologic <br />Reconnaissance. No reclamation will be necessary for the existing light use road.
