•
•
2.05.3
• TR -65
The Operator plans to develop main entries under Terror Creek during 2010
in order to access the coal reserves to the west. The coal reserves located
west of Terror Creek will be referred to as the western mining district. New
panels in the western mining district will be numbered B -10 through B -14.
The western mining district will require a new ventilation shaft and three or
more gob vent bore holes per panel. Permit Revision No. 12 (PR -12) will be
processed to obtain regulatory approval to develop and mine in the western
mining district west of the current permit boundary.
During 2009 the Operator is going to wash coal for West Elk Coal Company,
(WECC). WECC will haul raw E -Seam coal to BRL's lower stockpile area.
BRL will run West Elk's coal through the pnE paration plant. The resultant
coal mine waste will be hauled back to West Elk's coal mine waste pile.
Clean coal will be loaded out through BRL's unit train loadout. Projected
throughput is about 150,000 tons per month for an estimated three months
or more.
2.05 - 5i - 12/09
