This excludes security personnel and personnel conducting maintenance or
housekeeping, or related activity. This also excludes individuals who are not considered to be engaged
in activities which are not significantly moving the site towards completion of the mining operations.
We are only required to notify the Division in writing after 180 days or more. Temporary cessation can
last for 5 years and can be renewed for an additional 5 years after that period (10 years total).
The Sunday Mine was placed under temporary cessation on November 30, 2009. This letter is intended to
notify you that active mining has ceased at the above referenced mine and the mine has been placed on
temporary cessation. Also enclosed is a check for $115.00 for the temporary cessation fee.
