consistent with the Division's terminology. In addition, the Applicant may choose to use a <br />more distinct symbol to depict the permit boundary. <br />6.4.4 Exhibit D - Mining Plan <br />6. Please indicate if the topsoil from the expanded area will be stockpiled in the current <br />stockpile location or in a different location. <br />7. In the Applicant's Adequacy Response letter dated May 12, 2010, the Applicant stated <br />"Areas and of the original pit have been graded to their final configuration". Please <br />clarify the areas that have been graded to their final configuration. Do these areas correspond <br />to the areas depicted on the Reclamation Plan Map? <br />8. For the purposes of determining the bond, please indicate if reclamation will be concurrent <br />with mining. Please state how much area will be disturbed before reclamation activities begin <br />and state the maximum amount of disturbed acreage at any point in the life of the operation. <br />6.4.5 Exhibit E - Reclamation Plan <br />9. The Applicant has indicated reclamation of the existing pit will be completed by the end of <br />2010. However, the Mining Plan states the portable crusher plant will remain within the <br />existing pit for the life of the mine. Please specify the total area (acres) the portable crusher <br />plant and stockpiles will occupy within the existing pit <br />6.4.6 Exhibit F - Reclamation Plan Map <br />10. The Reclamation Plan map portrays the direction and rate of slope for the expanded portion <br />of the pit, but not for the existing pit. Please revise the Reclamation Plan Map to show the <br />proposed topography of the existing pit. <br />6.4.12 Exhibit L - Reclamation Costs <br />11. As required by Rule 6.4.12(1), please provide all necessary information to calculate the costs <br />of reclamation. The costs should be broken down into the various major phases of <br />reclamation and should include unit costs for backfilling, grading, topsoil application, <br />seeding, mulching, and fertilization. Also provide the volumes and haul or push distances for <br />backfilling and grading.
