piles from past operations have been left with slopes estimated at 1.6:1 to 1.8:1 (horizontal: vertical). <br />These piles have remained stable for over 50 years due to the large size and competent nature of marble <br />blocks. CSQ plans to deposit waste so the final slope in areas where waste is added to existing piles is <br />1.8:1 or lower.
