Pineda <br />Director <br />Re: Maryland Creek Ranch, Permit No. M-1996-049, Amendment Approval, Revision No. AM-1 <br />Dear Mr. Norwick: <br />On May 24, 2010 the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety approved the Amendment application submitted to the <br />Division on February 24, 2010, addressing the following: <br />Revision to add 9.92 affected acres within existing permit area, update mining and reclamation plans, and modify bond <br />amount to account for wetland mitigation/reclamation and other changes. <br />The terms of the Amendment No. 1 approved by the Division are hereby incorporated into Permit No. M-1996-049. All <br />other conditions and requirements of Permit No. M-1996-049 remain in full force and effect. <br />The estimated liability amount of $564,548.00 exceeds the $295,850.00 performance bond currently held. If you have not <br />already done so, please submit additional bond in the amount of $268,698.00. The revision will not be final until the <br />increased bond is approved by the Division.
