RULE 2 - PERMITS <br />Electrical Ming Station — The ming station will be located northwest of the portal area. The ming <br />• station will be a pole mounted disconnect and a system of ms on a concrete pad 30 x 30 feet. The <br />station will be enclosed in a security fence with a locked gate. <br />Million Gallon Water Tank and Pump House — The million gallon water tank includes <br />construction of a reinforced concrete pad and footers, installation of a water tank and associated <br />pumping installation, and drilling of a nominal 13 -inch borehole from the surface to the <br />underground workings from the utility pad above the portal entries. SCCC proposes to construct a <br />steel water tank 85 feet in diameter and 24 feet high designed to hold one million gallons. The tank <br />will rest on a reinforced concrete foundation consisting of a spread- footer, stem wall, and slab floor <br />supported by concrete pilings. Preparation of the tank foundation area will involve grading, <br />compaction, and excavation for the support pilings and spread- footer. Following site preparation, <br />the reinforced concrete pilings and footers will be formed, and poured, followed by the reinforced <br />concrete pad and stem wall. The steel tank will be fabricated in sections which will be placed and <br />anchored on the stem wall. A water -tight liner system will complete the tank installation. The <br />pump house will include valves and manifolds to control the water to the operation. <br />Roads <br />The following roads will be constructed or reconstructed and maintained to support the proposed <br />PSCM operations; <br />• Haulroads <br />• <br />Road A <br />— existing, re- designed <br />•• <br />Road A -1 — existing, re- designed <br />o <br />Road A -2 — new <br />• <br />Road B <br />— existing, re- designed <br />• <br />Road B -1 <br />— existing, re- designed <br />• <br />Road C <br />— existing, re- designed <br />• <br />Road D <br />— new <br />• Access Roads <br />o Road C -1 — new <br />• Road E -1 —existing, approved postmine road <br />• Road E — existing, approved postmine road <br />In -Pit Roads <br />• Road B -2 <br />• Pit Ramp (Roal F) <br />Designs for all mine roads comply with applicable provisions of Rules 4.03 and 4.04. <br />Specifications for each road are summarized or referenced in the following sections. Haulroads are <br />designed to comply with construction and reclamation design requirements, hydrologic protections, <br />and provisions for disposal of unsuitable materials consistent with applicable provisions of Rules <br />4.03.1, 4.05.2(4), 4.05.18, 4.06.2, 4.06.3, 4.06.4(2), 4.09.1, 4.15 and 4.17. Access roads are <br />designed to comply with construction and reclamation design requirements, hydrologic protections, <br />and provisions for disposal of unsuitable materials consistent with applicable provisions of Rule <br />4.03.2, 4.05.2(4), 4.05.18, 4.06.2, 4.06.3, 4.06.4(2), 4.09.1, 4.15 and 4.17.
