C-81-008 <br />Dear Mr. Boulay: <br />Western Fuels-Colorado, A Limited Liability Company, hereby applies for bond release <br />for the relocated Colorado Cooperative Ditch Company pipeline. <br />1. WFC has a self-bond in place for the reclamation of the New Horizon Mine in the <br />amount of $2,500,000. This request pertains to a reduction in the bond liability <br />only and there would be no release of any money. WFC is requesting Phase 1 <br />bond liability release. <br />2. The reclamation work for the relocation of the pipeline was performed by <br />removing the pipe line from the temporary location and relocating it in its <br />approximate original location.. The temporary pipe line area has been restored to <br />approximate original contour. The relocated pipe line is buried. It is a permanent <br />structure of the ditch which will not interfere with any post-reclamation land uses. <br />Please see the attached Map 1 for the locations. <br />3. The new location of the pipe line is described in Exhibit A. <br />4. The reclamation work was completed on March 30, 2007 as per the approved <br />reclamation plant in the mine permit. <br />5. The number of acres reclaimed in places where the temporary pipe line was <br />buried is estimated at 5.0 acres. <br />6. I have enclosed a proposed public notice and a proposed letter to be mailed to the <br />adjacent landowners.
