The , <br />mine is operated by Wester Fuels-Colorado, <br />Lb' under the provisions of the Colorado Surface <br />Coal Mining Reclamation Act of 1979. The bond <br />release application was submitted. by Wester <br />Fuch-Colorado, LLC on May 17, 2007. Wester <br />Fuels-Colorado is requesting Phase I Bond release for <br />the relocated CC Ditch Pipeline from its temporary ' <br />location to its permanent location. The reclamation <br />work for the relocation of the pipe line was limited 'i <br />to removing the pipeline from the existing location f <br />and relocating it by burying in the approximate origi- <br />nal ditch location: The number of acres reclaimed <br />during the relocation process is estimated at 5.0 <br />acres. WFC is requesting release of liability only <br />for the reclaimed temporary pipeline corridor; no <br />funds will be released The affected area is located <br />in Montrose County, approximately I' mile north of <br />Nucla, Colorado... <br />Copies of the proposed decision are available for <br />review at the.
