Permit No. M-1983-067
P.O. BOX 700
HENDERSON, CO 80640
(303) 289-1837
(303) 289-2865 FAX
Our files indicate that the anniversary date for this permit
is April 20, 2010. The effective date of all information in this
report is May 13, 2010. Please refer to the Annual Report Map for
the location of the areas discussed in this report. This pit HAS
NOT been granted a Temporary Cessation and it HAS operated more
than 180 days this year. The bond is currently $230,691.00.
We will deal specifically with each of the Annual Report
requirements as outlined in Rule 1.15 of the Rules and Regulations.
(1) This permit was transferred to us on June 23rd 2009 and mining
has not started as of this date. The area was stripped by
LaFarge, the original permittee and topsoil has been stored
along the eastern perimeter. The topsoil has a vegetative
cover at this time. A temporary water discharge pipe was
placed along the south side of the permitted area this year.
This pipeline, installed under an approved Technical Revision,
allows the HOA to discharge water from their lake to the South
Platte River.
(2) No reclamation is required at this time.
(3) Mining may start this year depending on market demands.
(4) We will continue to monitor ground water levels and pump the
HOA lake to the east keep their lake level under control until
we can complete installation of the permanent structure. The
groundwater monitoring data we have collected since June 2009
is attached for your review. The larger the number the deeper
the water table is below the ground.
