In all cases of discussions of post mine vegetation and land <br />use Reclaimed Irrigated Pastureland may be referred to as Irrigated Pasture (IP). <br />3.3 Pastureland - Irriaated Swales (IPSW I These areas are generally low lying areas which drain <br />irrigated fields around them. They are not directly irrigated but usually have substantial waterfrom <br />the surrounding fields. They can have wetland plants and these area are not managed or baled. <br />3.4 Drvland Pasture (DP) These areas are restored dryland areas that wereprevioasiyfocus <br />toward establishment of adapted dryland grasses fords and shrubs with the intent that these <br />areas will be grazed by livestock animals for their permanent post -mine land use Much of these <br />areas were either dri pastures or sagebrush <br />angelands in the pre -mine <br />rangelanrr Some lands that were previously irrigated but do not now have the water <br />needed for irrigation may be convert ed to Drvland Pasture. There is no sagebrush shrub in the <br />post -mine Drvland Pasture. Two shrubs will be planted from seed for Drvland Pasture tracts west <br />of 2700 Road which are forage kochia and fourwing saltbush. No shrubs were planted east of <br />2700 Road. <br />3.5 Rangeland - Undisturbed (R -U) These areas are natural dry rangeland areas that have not <br />been disturbed.
