Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br /> Q <br />RE: Bowie No. 2 <br />ne, Permit No..C-1996-083, Bowie Resources LLC <br /> Technical Revision No. 66, Terror Creek Vent Shaft, Request for Assistance <br />I am requesting your assistance in the adequacy review of the reclamation cost estimate for <br />Technical Revision No. 66 (TR-66), submitted by Bowie Resources LLC (BRL) for the Bowie <br />No. 2 Mine. In TR-66, BRL is proposing to construct a ventilation shaft just west of Terror <br />Creek. Associated structures will also be installed. According to revised page 2.05-11 of TR-66, <br />the Quonset but with nitrogen generator at the Hubbard Creek fan shaft area will be moved to the <br />Terror Creek vent shaft area when no longer needed there. The construction proposed in TR-66 <br />will be at a site that was already approved for disturbance in Technical Revision No. 25. <br />The TR-66 submittal was called complete on December 22. Therefore, the Division's adequacy <br />review letter due date is Thursday, January 21, 2010. I would appreciate getting your adequacy <br />review memo back by Tuesday, January 19. <br />Attached is one complete copy of the TR-66 submittal. If you need any additional information, <br />please let me know.
