Photo S. Large area of cryptogamic soil. <br />The Cooper's Hawk nest had fallen to the ground sometime during the previous winter <br />(Photo 6). The deteriorated condition of the nest indicated it had not been used in 2009 <br />and possibly not in 2005. <br />Photo 6.
