I MINING PLAN

fl
11

t

EXHIBIT D
The permit boundary area includes 9.95 acres. With this conversion the mining
plan will change to include the 42.69 acre parcel. In doing this conversion the
mining will proceed as started with the previous permit. The 42.69 acre parcel
which is divided by a deep draw running East to West will be mined from North to
South. The deep draw will be the dividing line between the two phases. During
the first phase on the northern end mining will continue as started and moving in
an easterly direction and then to the south.
PHASE 1
During the first phase overburden and topsoil will be stored on the boundary of
the permitted area and used for material to construct berms along County Road
#3 to minimize visual impacts. Some material will also be used to construct a
crossing across the drainage. As the mining reaches completion in phase 1 there
will be a transition period in which mining will begin in the second phase while
material stockpiles are still in the first phase. Mining will proceed from North to
South in the second phase. Reclamation will proceed along with the mining
process. Areas that are completed from mining will be reclaimed on an ongoing
basis.
MINING TIMETABLE
This estimated mining timetable is based on an average year. Mountain Park
Concrete does not expect any specific year to vary widely from the average. If
there are changes in the mining timetable we will discuss the reasons for the
change in the annual report that follows the change and modify it at that time.

PHASE ESTIMATED YEARS
#1 17-25 yrs.
# 2 20 - 30 yrs.
7
