III. COMMENTS - COMPLIANCE <br /> Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br /> during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection <br /> and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br /> Support Facilities <br /> I walked the lower end (approximately 500 yards)of the transmission corridor, from the point where the corridor <br /> intersects the Grassy Creek Road just east of Pond 11, up to a location where the slope became so steep as to <br /> make footing difficult, given the light snow cover present. There is a lightly travelled 2-track maintenance route <br /> along this section of the corridor. The graded transmission corridor has a relatively well established vegetation <br /> cover, and there was no erosion evident along the steep segment walked, or the steeper segment further west <br /> that could be observed from the west end of the segment walked. <br /> 5 <br />
