Box 871 <br />Boulder, CO 80306 <br />Re: Brannan Sand & Gravel Company, Pit 29, Adams County, Permit No. M-1980-183 <br />Corrective Actions - Response to Letter of 23 April 2010 --- <br />Dear Mr. Riordan: <br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (Division) thanks you for your letter of 23 April 2010 <br />regarding the compliance concerns and corrective actions needed at Brannan Sand & Gravel Company's <br />(Brannan) Pit 29 in Adams County. <br />The Division acknowledges and appreciates Brannan's intent to enter into a written agreement with <br />Albert Frei and Sons (Frei) and the homeowners that will include a voluntary contribution by Brannan <br />toward the cost of installation of the approved mitigation option. <br />Please be advised that Brannan still must comply with the corrective actions described in the inspection <br />report from 26 August 2009, and the RTB letter of 23 March 2010 pertaining to disturbance to the <br />prevailing hydrologic balance.
