z
stability problems (more so in the northern block, but both have been affected). The center of the
area has dropped down. Areas have been displaced 3 to 4 feet from surrounding ground. The
adjacent parcel of land has previously been Phase III released, but has been re-affected. due to
this movement. This new disturbance will necessitate the DRMS to reassert jurisdiction.on and
re-bond the affected area. A geotechnical analysis will be required to determine the direction /
cause / extent of movement and best course of corrective action. Runoff from affected areas
reports to the pit on the northern slope or a sediment pond on the southern slope. The.E-AB-08
blocks should be withdrawn from the SL-I I application pending further analysis and reclamation
work. This was discussed with Mr. Roberts, he agreed.
TMI will remove E-AB-08 from the SL-1 I application and notify the DRMS when the identified
work has been completed in F-AB-08. The area will be re-inspected before the DRMS issues a
proposed decision on the remainder of SL-11.
Photographs taken:
Fig. 2: Topsoil >16 inches (Z-AB-08)
2
Pig. 1: 1-At3-08 erosion to be repaired
