The permit area can be found on the USGS Quadrangle 7.5 Minute <br />Series Maps of Hayden Gulch, Hayden, Dunckley and Mt. Harris. <br />Surface ownership is predominantly private, with right of entry based on a variety of private leases, <br />subleases and easements. The permit area also includes limited areas of lands owned by the State of <br />Colorado and federal surface managed by BLM. Coal mined at Seneca II-W was owned by private <br />interest, the State of Colorado, and the Federal government, all under lease to Seneca.
