This approval <br />is based on the information you provided under cover letters dated October 31, 2008, and January <br />29, 2009 as well as the site inspection conducted on January 14, 2009. The estimated pit inflows <br />from precipitation and groundwater and outflows due to pumping and evaporation indicate that this <br />pit has been lined to the design standard referenced in the August 1999 State Engineer <br />Guidelines for Lining Criteria for Gravel Pits.
