We appreciate your responses to our
request for additional information.
Status of Road Use Permit: Our roads engineer is currently reviewing all of the information you
have provided, and she will have some additional questions for you before we can proceed with
processing the Road Use Permit. I expect that we will be sending you another letter detailing any
additional information needed within the next week.
Other Items:
1.We understand that you have dropped four of the drilling locations (#10, 16, 19 and 20).
Therefore, the access roads which crossed unpatented claims on NFS land to the #19 and 20 sites
will not be built. Following is the revised list of activities and sites on NFS lands and roads:
-Use of NFR 853.1b (Yankee Boy Basin road) and NFSR 853.1 c (Governor Basin road) for
hauling equipment, supplies and personnel to/from the project area;
-Construction of access roads to the #12, 18, 22 and 23 drilling locations, and widening of NFSR
853. lb for the #11, 13 and 26 drilling pad locations (note; the road and locations occur on Mt.
Sneffels' patented land);
-Construction and drilling activities at the #12 and #18 drilling locations.
2. We have reviewed and concurred with the State DRMS calculation for the reclamation bond,
based upon Mt. Sneffels Mining Company's reduction in drillpad locations.
S 01W
Caring for the Land and Serving People Printed on Recycled Paper %0
