Note that I have
not received DMRs for this permit and have created an electronic version to provide data in the interim. This is a construction
permit to install a pipeline under Fish Creek on the mine property. Note that while the permit was effective at the end of
February 2010, actual construction/installation of the pipeline did not start until mid March. As such, I have included a
February DMR indicating no flow for 001A.
Following construction, Outfall 001 A did flow the last three weeks in March 2010. There were two exceedances relating to
total suspended solids (TSS). Four water quality samples were collected in March with TSS sequential results of 38, 25, 36,
and 190 mg/L. The last anomalous value exceeded our maximum value and bumped up our 30 day average. The elevated
value is most likely the result of natural high flow impacts from snow melt erosion, and not from the construction, as suggested
by the four preceeding lower TSS concentrations.
Please contact m directly at (970) 870-2750 with any questions.
a4C
Brian A.
