This will be a total disturbance area of 3.6 acres. However, the <br />amount of land to be re-vegetated is limited to a portion of the access roads on the surface of the waste <br />piles. <br />3. Post-Reclamation Site Drainage <br />The system of collection ditched and sumps will be left in place for final reclamation. These areas will <br />be seeded and mulched and will revegetate. As they eventually silt in, the site will be revegetated and <br />the system should not then be needed. Once mining is complete, drainage from the quarry will <br />commence when water has filled the existing workings up to the lowest possible exit elevation. This is <br />the north portal.
