NOTICE OF PROPOSED DECISION The Colorado Division of Rec- lamation, Mining and Safety pro- poses to Approve Technical Re- vision Application No. 55 (TR-55) for the Roadside Portals (Permit No. C-1981.041), submitted by Snowcap Coal Company, Inc.. The revision would amend vari- ous permit maps and tables (in- cluding the permit area legal (description) to reflect a recent bond release approval (SL-3), which reduced the permit area from 10,310 acres to 3,016 acres. The Roadside Portals is an un- derground coalmine located in Mesa GarllAlitm lproximaliely 5 miles north-olFafisade Colo- rado. Coal, interest is Vederal and private, and the sib Ase af- fected&a, a1 7tyate land. The per a am--- passes approximately 3,016.00 acres. This proposed decistoitis based on a flndin that tfie proposed operation will comply with all re- quirements of the Colorado Sur- face Coal Mining Reclamation Act, Section 34 33 101, at seq., C.R.S., and the regulations pro- mulgated thereunder. Copies of the proposed deci- sion, including stipulations, are _ on file for public inspection at the Colorado Division of Recla- mation, Mining and Safety, Room 215, Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colo- rado 80203. Persons with an interest that may be adversely affected by the proposed deci- sion may request a formal hear- ing before the Mined Land Rec- lamation Board on'the proposed decision. Such request must be made within ten (10) days of the initial publication of this notice, must be in writing, and must state with reasonable specificity the reasons foi the request and the objections to the proposed decision.
