Dear Mr. Hiner,
The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (Division) has completed its adequacy review
of your application for the Technical Revision to the above referenced permit. The application
was received and called complete for review on April 19, 2010. The decision date for this
application is May 19, 2010. Please be advised that if you are unable to satisfactorily address
any concerns identified in this review before the decision date, it will be your responsibility
to request an extension of the review period. If there are outstanding issues that have not
been adequately addressed prior to the end of the review period, and no extension has been
requested, the Division will deny this application.
The Division has identified several items that will require the submittal of additional information
or clarification of the existing information.
6.4.5 Exhibit E - Reclamation Plan
The Reclamation Plan Map submitted with Technical Revision - 02 (TR-02), must conform
to the general requirements of Rule 6.2.1(2). Please revise the Reclamation Plan Map to
include the following:
a. Show name of Applicant
b. Must be signed by the person who prepared the map
c. Give the date prepared
d. Shall be prepared at a scale that is appropriate to clearly show all elements that are
required to be delineated by the Act. The acceptable range of map scales shall not be
larger than 1 inch = 50 feet nor smaller than 1 inch = 600 feet. Please also be sure to
include the map scale, appropriate legend, map title, date and a north arrow.
e. In accordance with Rule 6.4.6(a), the Reclamation Plan Map must show the proposed
topography of the area with contour lines of sufficient detail to portray the direction
and rate of slope of all reclaimed lands.
