Pineda <br />Director <br />RE: Greeley Pit; DRMS File No. M-1977-151; Technical Revision - 02 Adequacy Review <br />Dear Mr. Hiner, <br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (Division) has completed its adequacy review <br />of your application for the Technical Revision to the above referenced permit. The application <br />was received and called complete for review on April 19, 2010. The decision date for this <br />application is May 19, 2010. Please be advised that if you are unable to satisfactorily address <br />any concerns identified in this review before the decision date, it will be your responsibility <br />to request an extension of the review period. If there are outstanding issues that have not <br />been adequately addressed prior to the end of the review period, and no extension has been <br />requested, the Division will deny this application. <br />The Division has identified several items that will require the submittal of additional information <br />or clarification of the existing information. <br />6.4.5 Exhibit E - Reclamation Plan <br />The Reclamation Plan Map submitted with Technical Revision - 02 (TR-02), must conform <br />to the general requirements of Rule 6.2.1(2). Please revise the Reclamation Plan Map to <br />include the following: <br />a. Show name of Applicant <br />b. Must be signed by the person who prepared the map <br />c. Give the date prepared <br />d. Shall be prepared at a scale that is appropriate to clearly show all elements that are <br />required to be delineated by the Act. The acceptable range of map scales shall not be <br />larger than 1 inch = 50 feet nor smaller than 1 inch = 600 feet. Please also be sure to <br />include the map scale, appropriate legend, map title, date and a north arrow. <br />e. In accordance with Rule 6.4.6(a), the Reclamation Plan Map must show the proposed <br />topography of the area with contour lines of sufficient detail to portray the direction <br />and rate of slope of all reclaimed lands. <br />Office of Office of <br />Mined Land Reclamation Denver • Grand Junction • Durango Active and Inactive Mines
