EXHIBIT G <br />WATER INFORMATION <br />EAST 13RADBURY PIT <br />This operation is not expected to directly affect surface or ground water. <br />Water resources in the area of the operation include Kannah Creek which is located <br />approximately on half mile north of the site and the Smith Ditch which is located <br />approximately 500 feet north of the site. The site is located along the top of a ridge which <br />sloped from east to west at less than two percent and breaks off sharply to the north and <br />south along the edges. The water table elevation of the site is well below the level of the <br />mining operation. <br />Surface drainage of the previously mined area ponds in the southwest corner of the <br />existing pit. When the mining is completed, the area will be left as a bowl sloping from <br />east to west. Surface runoff within and adjacent to the pit will continue to pond in the <br />west end of the pit where it will seep into the adjacent gravel layer and or evaporate. A <br />small berm will be constructed along the east side of the pit to divert surface runoff from <br />the Azcarraga property from entering the pit. <br />The estimated quantity of water required during the mining operation is 21,000 gallons <br />per day. The maximum annual water requirement is 1260 M gallons. Water will be used <br />for dust control. <br />Water can be obtained from Kannah Creek during the spring runoff. Other times of the <br />year if can be purchased from the City of Grand Junction or Grand Junction Pipe, has <br />water rights on the Gunnison River. Only one water source will be used at a time-.
