Brannan would be more than willing to further discuss the matter informally <br />with the Division if you think that would be productive. <br />If, on the other hand, the Division still wants to take this matter to the Board for a Formal Hearing, <br />Brannan requests the following: <br />Please include this letter in the record on this matter. <br />2. Please continue the Formal Hearing to a time when the Board is meeting in the area <br />in which the concern exists. It makes little sense for everyone (including, for example, the Zigan <br />Lake homeowners) to travel to Grand Junction for a hearing on a matter relating to a gravel pit in <br />Adams County. This continuance will also give Frei additional time to complete the design and <br />installation of a water management strategy for the Stagecoach Pit. <br />3. Please take notice of Brannan's request that it be allowed -to review and comment on <br />any draft of the Board's order in this matter before it becomes final. <br />Finally, please let me know if any of the above requests need to be made in a separate motion to the <br />Board. <br />Thank you for you review and favorable consideration of this response letter.
