We find that
all of the adequacy concerns identified in our PAR letter of April 8, 2010 were adequately
resolved, with the exception of Adequacy Item #5, summarized here below.
5. In this item, the Division requested that Wadge and Wolf Creek Wells upgradient of
mining [GW-S2W-3W and 3WC (WW3 and WWC3)], not be abandoned at this time but
rather be included with the list to suspend monitoring until final bond release. We
requested that page 15-3a-15 be revised accordingly.
In the response submittal, we note that the subject wells were removed from the listing
of wells to be abandoned, on page 15-3a-15, as appropriate. However, the subject wells
were not added to the list of wells for which monitoring will be suspended, on the same
page. Please insert the following into the listing of wells for which monitoring will
be suspended, on narrative page 15-3a-15:
GW-S2W-3W and 3WC (WW3 and WWC3): Wadge and Wolf Creek
Coal Wells upgradient of mining area.
Please contact fl?e if you have any questions.
Sincerely, _?----
Daniel T.
