The area inspected by an AMEC representative prior to concrete placement and found to
be constructed properly in competent and frost/ice free material. Two samples were obtained
randomly during concrete placement. Slump testing, air-entrainment testing, temperature testing,
and casting of five 6" x 12" cylinders was performed for each sample. All field properties testing
results were with in project specifications and performed in accordance with ASTM/ACI
standards. The cylinders cast will be transported to an off-site facility and tested for compressive
strength at specified curing ages.
C) Lateral/Slot Remediation
No work was performed during the week.
IV) Storm Water Management Structures
A) Control Structures
No work was performed during the week.
B) Best Management Practices
Best Management Practices are being observed throughout the Phase 5 VLF Project.
