Martin <br />Craig, Colorado 81626 Executive Director <br />Re: Wand Pit, M-2010-007,110c Application Approval. <br />Dear Mr. Baker, <br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety (DBMS) has finished the review process for the above <br />referenced 110c application. Northwest Aggregates has submitted detailed drawings with engineering <br />review to address potential pit capture by the Yampa River, proof of notice, and revised maps. The <br />application now appears to meet all the requirements of the Act and Rules. DRMS has calculated the <br />reclamation liability estimate to be $17,300.00 (copy enclosed). Therefore, staff is pleased to inform <br />Northwest Aggregates that the application for the Wand Pit is approved. <br />In order for the permit to become active, properly executed Financial and Performance Warranties must <br />be accepted by DRMS. Please submit a financial warranty in the amount of $17,300.00 and the <br />performance warranty to the Division's Administrative Assistant, Elizabeth Merry in the Denver Office. <br />Any questions regarding the warranties should be directed to Elizabeth at 303-866-3567, ext. 8148. <br />As a reminder, no disturbance may begin until all other required local., state and federal permits are <br />approved and issued.
