This report has been reviewed.
The Department accepts the Report. The Department has some comments concerning the data contained in the
Report. First, the Thermoluminescent dosimeter measurements point out that gamma radiation in the vicinity of
the gate is significantly higher than the other measured values. What is the cause of this elevated measurement
and what action will be taken to reduce potential exposure?
Second, the surface water standard for uranium is 30. micrograms per liter in this stream segment, unless modified
by permit (5 CCR 1002-38). If you have any questions or would like to set up a meeting, please call Edgar
Ethington at (303) 692-3438, me at (303) 692-3371.
.Sincerely,
J es H.
