Static groundwater elevations <br />are typically 5 feet below ground elevations. The 50 foot setback from the edge of <br />the river will be maintained for all reining purposes except the building of a berm <br />to protect pit from 1 year flood event. No other manmade structures are near pit <br />area except power line as shown on map. The only fence is on the west boundary <br />of the property 300+ feet away from any excavation. Please see pictures `exhibit <br />B <br />Exhibit "C" <br />E) <br />G) <br />H) <br />I) No ground water will be exposed until DMG has a copy of the well permit. <br />J) <br />K) <br />L) Applicant will only de -water when necessary to minimize disturbance to <br />hydraulic balances. please see enclosed cross sections of edge of pit for details on <br />berm to protect from 100 year flood event. <br />M) <br />Exhibit "D" <br />C) <br />D) The statement N/A should be removed. Ponds in the mining area will be left for <br />waterfowl with the reclaimed slopes being graded no steeper than 3H:1. The <br />Division of Wildlife was contacted and agreed with a native grass for seed mix <br />and will send additional information. <br />E) <br />
