Slopes ranee from 0 to 15 percent. Mean annual <br />precipitation is about `f 1 inches and the me =an annual temperature is about 49 <br />degrees F. <br />TAXONOMIC CLASS: Fine - loamy, mixed, superactive, mesic Ustic Calr:iargids <br />TYPICAL PEBON: Barx very fine sandy loam, on rangeland. (Colors are for dry soil <br />unless otherwise noted.) <br />A - -O to 3 inches; reddish brown (5YR 514) very tine sandy loam, reddish brown <br />(5YR 414) moist; weak medium platy structures; soft, friable; common very fine and <br />fine roots; few very fine tubular pores; moderately alkaline (pH 8.0); clear smooth <br />boundary. (2 to 4 inches thick) <br />AB- -3 to 9 inches; reddish brown (5YR 5f4) fine sandy loam, reddish brawn <br />(5YR 414) moist; moderate medium subangular blocky structure; slightly hard, <br />friable, slightly sticky and slightly plastic; common very fine and fine, few medium <br />roots; common very fine and fine tubular pares; moderately alkaline (pH 8.0); clear <br />smooth boundary.
