t <br />III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection <br />and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />Revegetation <br />As described in recent reports, there is good establishment of seeded shrubs in most areas, and good <br />establishment of both seeded grasses and shrubs along the reclaimed access road to the upper <br />bench. Areas disturbed in association with the planned stabilization project described above will be <br />roughened and seeded with an appropriate perennial seed mix. The seedmix planned at this time is <br />very similar to the mix used on portions of the site in 2000, which proved to be quite successful in <br />most areas. There was no recent sign of deer or elk, as the herds have not yet moved down into the <br />winter ranges along the lower Bookcliffs. <br />4 <br />
