Pineda <br />Director <br />RE: Arkins Park Quarries, DRMS File No. M-1985-212; Financial Warranty Increase (SI-01) <br />Dear Mr. Towns, <br />Per our conversation on April 12, 2010, the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety <br />(Division) has agreed to extend the submittal date of the increased Financial Warranty. On <br />February 1, 2010, the Division increased the current Financial Warranty from $50,000.00 to <br />$156,245.00. The estimate is based on observations made during the inspection conducted on <br />December 16, 2009. The increased Financial Warranty amount of $106,245.00 must be <br />submitted to the Division prior to June 11, 2010. <br />Please note the Permittee may be scheduled for a Formal Board Hearing for possible revocation <br />of the permit if the increased Financial Warranty has not been submitted to the Division by June <br />11, 2010. <br />If you have any questions, please contact me (303) 866-3567 x8116. <br />Sincerely, <br />f <br />Michael A.
