(3) Other Agency protection measures and monitoring
BLM measures are noted as being genera! Please provide documentation from BLM of
approval. If BLM has not approved, Nuvemco mast submit letter within five working ,days of
receipt for inclusion into this section.
Attached as DRMS Response Supplement (3) is an email from Robert Ernst, BLM -UFO
geologist regarding the status of the Environmental Assessment (EA) prepared for Nuvemco's
Last Chance Mining and Drilling Plan. Responses should be complete by late April and the next
stage of filing begun. A copy of this 112d Application with Comments and Responses will be
submitted to the BLM upon completion and may necessitate some further actions on the EA.
Nuvemco will provide documentation of BLM approval within live working days of receipt.
Here is a link to the .pdf of the public notification letter document:
htti); // www .binr.( - , ov /st; Ie /nie dial ib /bin - i/c€ /information) /iie a.lunco - ,re #ield/azfo nepa doc
i le. dat , 'Final%20Last °, 2 OChance % 20,Ap)e.all /o2OL,etter.l)df
Here is a link to the page that has this document as a link in case the above link does not link:
1 ._ /J/ )y vJ2Im ovi eofst!en /fotailo.htraal
(4) Other Permits and Licenses
Please provide documentation that EPA Radon .Emissions Modeling, under the National
Emission Standards far Hazardous Air Pollutants, is not required.
See Subpart B — National Emission Standards for Radon Emissions from Underground Uranium
Mines included above in 6.4.13 Exhibit M. As part of the reclamation process, the temporary ore stockpile and
ore loading areas will be over - excavated to remove any residual radioactive material from that
area with the material placed back in the mine. Continuous handheld surveys will be conducted
during excavation to insure all material is removed. After re- contouring the area and covering
with topsoil, another radiometric survey of the same scope as described in 3.1.5 (5) will be
conducted to confirm radiation levels approximating the background surveys.
13
