your part that we immediately responded to your requests. We simply did not have the personnel
to conduct reclamation on the Arkins Park quarry during February.
Lastly, I would like to call your attention to the fact that the last inspection by your agency was
conducted in 2005, five years ago. It boggles my mind that it has been five years (sixty months)
since your last inspection and yet you seem adamant that granting a 90 day extension is out of
the question. Surely our situation isn't so urgent that it needs to be remedied within the next
thirty days. I'm sure your logical, well ordered mind can see the ludicrousness of this.
Given the fact that you are imposing a 312% increase, we cannot find a bank that will do
business with us and we spent a month working on complying with State mandates, 90 days is
not an unreasonable request. For the above reasons, we are requesting a 90 day extension with
which to comply with your proposed financial warranty increase and/or conduct reclamation.
If you are unable to grant this 90 day extension, I would ask that you allow us to come to Denver
and meet with you and your immediate supervisor as well as their immediate supervisor. Thank
you for your time.
Sincerely,
?"TQUJRA
David Towns
Human Resources Manager
