Martin
Executive Director
Loretta E. Pifleda
Director
We have received your application for a Minor Revision to your permit to conduct coal mining in
Colorado. Our initial review indicates that all preliminary items required by Rule 2.08.4(5) have
not been submitted. Thus, your application is incomplete for the purposes of filing as of April 8,
2010.
In accordance with Rule 2.07.3(1), you have the opportunity to amend, review, or otherwise make
your application complete. The proposed new disturbance associated with methane drainage well
drilling on U.S. Forest Service lands requires a Technical Revision to the permit application.
Please re-submit the revision application as a Technical Revision. Past Technical Revisions for
methane drainage wells can be used as a guide for determining the information that should be
submitted.
If you have any questions, please contact me.
Sincerely,

Tom Kaldenbach
Environmental Protection Specialist
cc: Dan Hernandez, CDRMS
Office of Office of
Mined Land Reclamation Denver • Grand Junction • Durango Active and Inactive Mines
