• <br />• <br />• <br />Dry Rangeland The following seed mix is recommended for the upland dry <br />rangeland areas. After regrading, the reclaimed area should be <br />tilled. The seed mix can then be drill seeded and crimp mulched or hydro <br />seeded and hydro mulched applied over the seeding. The mulch will be <br />applied in at a rate of 1.5 tons/acre. This seed mix <br />should be hand-raked into the soil and covered with mulch, <br />avoiding the compaction of mechanical equipment. The mulch will <br />be crimped in at a rate of 1.5 tons/acre. Only certified weed free <br />mulch will be used. Tublings or cuttings will also be planted <br />along all lake edges. Cottonwoods and willow will be planted in clumps <br />of 10 to 15 tubings spaced about 8-10 feet apart. The clumps will be about <br />100 to 200 feet apart. Approximate clumps can be seen in the Reclamation <br />Map F-1.
