Seeding: Please see seed types in Exhibit E subsection 2(d) <br />(iii). Fertilizing: No fertilizer required per Natural Resource Conservation <br />Service. <br />(iv). Revegetation: No trees, shrubs or other types of vegetation will be <br />planted other than what is to be seeded. <br />(v). Topsoiling: Topsoil will be replaced at a rate of four (4) inches. <br />NOXIOUS WEED CONTROL PLAN: <br />Russian knapweed will be burned in the spring. It will be sprayed using Curtail at a rate <br />of 4 quarts to an Acre at flower stage on regrowth. It will be sprayed again using Curtail <br />at the same application rate prior to first hard frost in the fall. <br />Areas within the permit boundaries will be monitored each Spring, Summer & Fall. <br />Weed treatment will only be performed on areas infested with Russian knapweed inside <br />the permit boundaries. <br />All equipment and haul trucks will be inspected prior to leaving the site. If contaminated <br />materials are found, the contaminated material will be removed from equipment or haul <br />trucks prior to exiting the site. <br />Asphalt Constructors, Inc. will enlist the aid of the Rio Grande County Weed Director on <br />seasonal inspections to help identify any noxious weeds within permit boundaries. <br />If any noxious weeds are found within permit boundaries, a weed control plan specific to <br />the weed will be developed with the Director and implemented.
