•
The design of the stormwater controls have taken this value into account to provide for the safe containment and
passage of such an event without causing harm to the Tailings impoundment and to control sedimentation.
At the 10 year/24-hour Peak Flow, the Sedimentation Collection Pond discharge weir is designed to pass +/- 2.43
cfs (1,090 gpm), or 30%, during the one hour spike time. However, a storage volume of 0.13 acre-ft (42,000 gal.) is
provided for containment below the weir to give sufficient time for settling any sediment.
10 year/24-hour Storm Event, Peak Discharge
•
WlnT&55 OuWa ly*owaph Pro) Huklll Gulch Mlllshe
SWreaa: Mpw= Taft*t Q I Stonn It yf
CODDa M SdW199 t WWWWR tT"vnmt-W Nmartes'Atn PraledMiig Penh APPWft W6 *W.WSS
T I M E(M1l)
Anoendix to Exhibit C
1.
